Home Made Sesame Fish Fingers! Big Batch! Kid Friendly! Gluten Free!

Sesame Seed Fish Fingers! Gluten Free! Big Batch! by Karen Swan

A delicious alternative to those frozen rectangles of…..something……from my childhood.

Amounts for the coating are estimates – you may need more, you may need less.

750g firm white fish

155g plain flour – gluten free if required

Salt and pepper to taste

2 eggs

Sesame Seeds – I used pretty much all of a 230g jar.

Oil for frying.

Sesame Seed Fish Fingers! Gluten Free!05 Method:

Pat your fish dry and cut into squares or fingers.

Grab 3 bowls and a big plate.

In Bowl 1 combine the flour and seasonings.

In Bowl 2 lightly beat the eggs.

In Bowl 3 add the sesame seeds.

Coat each piece of fish in the flour, then egg, the sesame seeds and place on a plate as you do the remaining fish.

Heat the oil in a frypan and cook in batches.  About 5 minutes per side depending on how thick your fish is.
