- Put flour in mixing bowl, make a well in the centre. Add the egg and milk and whisk until all ingredients are blended well. Add a little milk if you need more ‘wetness’
- Heat a frying pan (medium heat), add a little oil and spoon about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into the pan. Flip once cooked on one side. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
Serve with bacon, haloumi or smoked salmon on the side. But if my kids are truely “hangry” I just get them to stand next to the me with their plates and pop them straight on as they are done.
